Corrections
If a page is wrong, tell us: we check every report and correct our own errors as soon as we can confirm them. Updated .
How to report an error
Write to hello@whattopatch.com with the page's address and what you think is wrong. A link to the source that shows it helps us check faster.
What we correct
Our errors: a wrong date, a vendor or product grouped under the wrong name, a broken link, a sentence that says more than the data does, or a fault in the rank. We fix them in the code that writes the pages, so every page with the same fault is corrected at once, and we aim to do it within two working days of confirming it.
A correction to a past value is marked on the page and in the date the page was last modified. A change to how the rank works gets a new method version and a dated line on the methodology page.
What we cannot change
CISA's entries, FIRST's EPSS scores and the CVE records are their publishers' data, shown as published. If one of them is wrong, the fix belongs to that publisher; our pages follow within hours of their correction, and our change log records it.
